The aradira in Kappl

A house just like the landscape on which it was built: The resort Aradira located in Kappl in Austria displays modern alpine architecture. The name Aradira means farmland and reveals its connection with Tyrolean tradition. Local materials were used in its construction, but in a modern interpretation. Wood and slate, large areas of glass and cubic forms are the essential elements in this mountain living experience.

Aradira – not only an apartment

Our house with its exceptional alpine architecture offers a beautiful panorama view to the surrounding mountain area Silvretta.

Aradira – The Architecture

The house consists of 4 similar units which differ only in size. The apartment is accessed through the parking area where the ski room is also located. Each unit consists of two floors. In the two-story apartments, the bedrooms are on the entrance level and the living room upstairs. Two units have an additional bedroom that is accessible from the roof terrace.

sustainability

The choice of materials and furnishings are mainly ecological which is very important for us. Most of the house consists of wood constructions, slates and slate flooring. For the heating we chose to heat from beneath the ground and electricity is generated through water power.
